Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to advance your career within a reputable automotive dealership in Guildford? Our client, a well-established and customer-focused dealership in Guildford, Surrey, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their dedicated service team. Duties

  • Servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
  • Carrying out general repairs including brakes, suspension, exhausts, and more
  • Conducting routine vehicle inspections and diagnostics
  • Undertaking MOT tests for class 4 vehicles (MOT Tester licence preferred, full training available if needed)
  • Assisting with wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and air conditioning servicing
  • Maintaining high workshop standards and contributing to excellent customer service
Candidate spec

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential
  • MOT Tester licence is highly desirable, but training can be provided for suitable candidates
  • Friendly, professional attitude with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
