MET Technician – Manchester

Are you a skilled MET Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity within a leading accident repair franchise in Manchester? Our client is looking for an experienced professional to join their busy team, offering a stable and progressive career path.

This is a fantastic chance to work with a well-established organisation recognised across the UK for excellence in vehicle repairs. You will be part of a supportive team, working Monday to Friday with no weekend requirements, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Duties:
  • Remove and refit vehicle components to manufacturer standards ensuring quality work
  • Check for additional damage and communicate with the Vehicle Damage Assessor effectively
  • Store displaced parts safely and securely for reinstallation
  • Ensure vehicles are reassembled and aligned correctly after repair and repainting
  • Follow company health and safety policies while maintaining tools and equipment in top condition
Requirements as a MET Technician:
  • Level 3 / ATA / IMI qualification (essential)
  • Proven experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim disciplines in a Bodyshop or Accident Repair environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to repairs
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Welding or panel repair experience is advantageous, but not essential.
