Duties:
  • Conducting thorough inspections on damaged vehicles to assess extent of repairs
  • Accurately estimating repair costs, timescales, and documenting repair methods
  • Liaising with insurers to obtain repair authorisation while managing costs effectively
  • Working closely with engineers and technicians to ensure clarity on repair processes
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and customer service throughout the process
Requirements as a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator, within a busy Bodyshop environment.
  • ATA or IMI accreditation preferred but not mandatory
  • Audatex experience is highly desirable
  • Strong technical knowledge with excellent attention to detail
  • Full UK manual driving licence, with no more than a few points
  • Ability to provide proof of Right to Work at interview (passport or birth certificate)
  • Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
