Our client, a well-established independent accident repair company, is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join their friendly and productive team in Eastbourne.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who has progressed from the shop floor and is still happy to get involved with light MET duties when required.

They have built a strong reputation locally for quality repairs and a supportive, team-focused environment.

Duties of a Workshop Controller with our Client:
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop
  • Manage workflow, productivity, and job allocation
  • Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and on time
  • Liaise with technicians and support staff to maintain efficiency
  • Carry out light MET duties when required
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment
What our client expects of their Workshop Controller:
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience working on the shop floor within an accident repair environment
  • Strong knowledge of bodyshop processes and repair methods
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or controller role preferred
  • Ability to organise workloads and meet deadlines
  • A hands-on approach with willingness to support the team
  • High attention to detail and quality standards
