Vehicle Technician Opportunity for Car Dealership in Guildford
  • Salary: Up to £37,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime
  • Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm + 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a well-established car dealership in Guildford.   • Competitive basic salary of up to £37,000 with uncapped OTE reaching approximately £44,300

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle health checks and inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Perform vehicle servicing, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
  • Carry out minor repairs, accessory fitting, and basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard, ensuring accurate record-keeping
  • Test drive vehicles to verify fault rectification and report any additional work required
  • Support warranty repairs and customer requests efficiently and professionally
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Self-motivated, team player, with a strong commitment to high standards in vehicle repair
  • Enthusiastic about further training and development, including brand and electric vehicle accreditation
  • Experience with diagnostics, MOT testing, and EV systems is advantageous but not essential
