Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Service Advisor seeking a rewarding opportunity within a reputable dealership?

Our client, a well-established family-owned business in Worthing, West Sussex, is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent chance to work in a friendly team environment where excellent customer service and professional growth are valued.

What's On Offer?
  • Offers a basic salary of £30,000 with an OTE of approximately £38,000
  • Work pattern from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Duties as a Service Advisor will include:
  • Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Book customer vehicles into the workshop and liaise with the technical team to track progress
  • Provide exceptional customer service by updating customers on their vehicle repairs and service progress
  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
  • Sell repair work, service plans, and additional vehicle products adhering to manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products and services through continuous training
  • Handle telephone enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Ensure workshop and administration areas are kept tidy and organised
Requirements that the Service Advisor will need:
  • Previous experience in a Motor Trade Service Advisor role is essential
  • You must have used a DMS system in the past, ideally Kerridge or similar
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • A professional appearance and phone manner, with a focus on delivering high standards of customer service
  • Good IT literacy and the ability to follow procedures accurately
