  • Position: Vehicle Technician
  • Location: Bedford 
  • Basic Salary: up to £45,000
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (No Weekends)

My client is a well known and established Independent garage in Bedford. They need an Vehicle Technician to join their workshop to assist with their new contracts. You'll be responsible for maintenance of the fleets of several national companies. It's a great opportunity to maximise your earning potential. 

The client is an ex-technician himself, so he knows the importance of career progression, he is committed to providing you with further qualifications and licenses such as MOT, Fgas, Hybrid/EV and so on. 

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include: 
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis, service, and repair in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Full vehicle service and repair on a variety of vehicles including mainly cars, but also occasional vans. 
  • Ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and recorded as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.
  • MOT's if you have your MOT License. 
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualified Service/Maintenance Technician
  • 3+ Years within a workshop.
  • Time Served Technicians without qualifications CAN apply. 
  • MOT Testers highly sought after but not necessary to apply. 
  • Have your own tools.
