- Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 Basic + Bonus (subject to experience and qualifications)
- Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings at overtime rate
The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for providing top-quality maintenance and repair services across a variety of vehicles, ensuring customer vehicles are prepared to the highest standard. - Carry out routine servicing operations such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre replacements
- Perform diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Replace worn or faulty parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Accurately record all work undertaken, ensuring thorough and transparent documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair options
- Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness within the workshop
- Contribute to the team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through training
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician preferably from a dealership workshop environment
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical diagnostics
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Excellent communication skills with customers and team members
- Proactive attitude towards learning and development
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant automotive qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
