Mobile Powered Access Engineer Required to be based near Peckham / South East London
  • Pay: Up to £46,000 Basic + Bonuses + on call premium 
  • Hours: 47.5 Hours per week inclusive of Door to Door travel. 630am / 7am start Monday - Friday.    
Are you an experienced Mobile Powered Access Engineer looking for a rewarding opportunity in the Peckham or South East London area? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team. Duties of the Mobile Powered Access Engineer:
  • Conduct statutory examinations and inspections of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and similar powered access equipment
  • Operate static boom MEWPs including vehicle-mounted, trailer-mounted, and spider lifts with outriggers
  • Maintain and repair mobile access machinery to the highest standards
  • Plan, manage, and execute repairs and maintenance onsite or in the workshop when required
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations
  • Support the on-call rota, providing standby and emergency assistance as needed
Requirements of the Mobile Powered Access Engineer:
  • Proven experience as a Mobile Powered Access Engineer or similar position in the motor trade industry
  • CAP qualified (Competent Assessed Person) with IPAF 1B certification
  • Strong understanding of mobile platforms, inspection procedures, and safety standards
  • Valid UK driving licence with the ability to operate company van
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to customer service
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a field-based environment
