Our client, a reputable dealership based in Exeter, Devon, is seeking a skilled PDI Technician to join their team. Duties of a PDI Technician will include:
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on a variety of vehicles to ensure quality standards are met
  • Servicing and repairing vehicles with precision and attention to detail
  • Liaising with the sales team to prepare vehicles for handover to customers
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer tools and software
  • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out and parts used
  • Upholding health and safety standards at all times and maintaining workshop organisation
Requirements that the PDI Technician will need:
  • Proven experience as a PDI Technician or similar position within the automotive sector
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver quality workmanship
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Relevant qualifications in vehicle repair and diagnostics are highly desirable
