Service Technician Required – Birmingham
  • Basic Salary up to: £34,665
  • OTE: £40,000+ (Uncapped bonus based on time saved and team performance)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week – No Weekends!
Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking automotive dealership group based in Birmingham, is currently seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their busy and successful aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician looking to progress their career within a modern workshop environment, supported by manufacturer training and industry-leading tools.

Duties as a Service Technician will include:
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Completing diagnostic, warranty and general repair work
  • Undertaking routine tasks such as oil services, brake work and cambelt replacements
  • Completing electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) and job cards accurately
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to high safety and quality standards.
The successful Service Technician will have:
  • A recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a Service Technician / Mechanic role
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • An MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential (training available)
