Vehicle Technician Required for Car Dealership in Guildford
Pay: £28k - £45k Basic DOE + £15k Productivity Bonus
Hours: 8 - 4.30pm Monday - Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis

Our client is looking for a talented Vehicle Technician to join their busy site in Guildford. Duties

  • Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs following manufacturer standards
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify damage or wear
  • Provide expert technical advice and communicate effectively with customers
  • Ensure all work complies with safety guidelines and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the service reception and workshop control teams to optimise workflow
  • Support fellow Technicians by sharing technical knowledge and assisting when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out and parts used
Candidate spec

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Strong understanding of vehicle safety standards and repair procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and meet targets
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential; a current MOT licence is advantageous
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous experience working with a recognised automotive brand is desirable
