Automotive Bookkeeper / Sales Administrator Required in Croydon, Surrey for Accident Repair Centre Group 

Pay: £34,000 - £40,000 Basic 
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday 
  Are you an experienced automotive professional seeking an engaging Bookkeeper / Sales Administrator role within a dynamic accident repair centre group? We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Croydon, Surrey, for a skilled Bookkeeper / Sales Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in automotive accounts to work in a busy and rewarding environment.

  • Competitive basic salary depending on experience of £34,000 - £40,000 per annum

Duties

  • Managing day-to-day finance operations including data entry, sales, and purchase ledger activities
  • Controlling ingoing and outgoing payments and receivables
  • Organising and filing VAT returns and purchase invoices
  • Paying suppliers and organising financial documentation via Sage and Xero
  • Loading and processing VAT and supplier invoices regularly
  • Assisting with financial control tasks whilst supporting the management accountant and finance controller
  • Managing email correspondence related to payees and receivables until the main finance team member is fully settled
Candidate spec

  • Proven experience in a similar automotive Bookkeeper / Sales Administrator role - must have automotive industry knowledge 
  • Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, credit control, and assisting with account procedures
  • Experience using Sage and Xero accounting software is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
