  • Pay: £32,000 Basic + £38k Bonus 
  • Hours: 8.30 - 5pm Monday - Friday only!  PDI / Sales Technician Vacancy – Guildford
Are you a motivated and driven automotive professional looking to join a reputable dealership? We are recruiting a PDI / Sales Technician on behalf of our client in Guildford. This role offers a dynamic working environment where your skills and positive attitude are valued above all else. If you are a qualified Level 3 Technician with a passion for delivering quality work, this opportunity could be perfect for you.

  • Competitive basic salary of £32,000 per year with an achievable £38,000 on-target earnings
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, no weekend work
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service length

Duties of the PDI / Sales Technician:
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles to ensure optimal quality
  • Prepare part-exchange vehicles for retail sale, ensuring they meet dealership standards
  • Assist with sales-related tasks, including making vehicles retail-ready
  • Support a team of technicians and collaborate to ensure smooth workshop operations
  • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through consistent quality work
  • Keep documentation up to date and adhere to health and safety guidelines
Requirements of the PDI / Sales Technician:
  • Level 3 qualified in MOT Testing and vehicle technicians
  • Proven experience in pre-delivery inspections and sales preparation
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality are essential
  • A clean driving licence and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Certifications in IMI or City & Guilds Level 3 are required prior to starting
