Vehicle Technician Required in Camberley, Surrey For Independent Family Run Car Service Centre 

Pay: £40 - £45k Basic Depending on experience & qualifications 
Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday + breaks with 1 in 2 Saturdays on a rota 

Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester looking for your next opportunity? An established independent family-run service centre in Camberley, Surrey, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their busy team. This is a fantastic chance to work in a reputable workshop offering excellent pay, a supportive environment, and scope for career progression.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary package of up to £45,000 per annum, with potential for bonuses based on MOT testing licence status
  • £40,000 basic salary for standard technicians

  • Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with alternating Saturdays (8am to 1pm, two out of four weeks)
Duties

  • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair suspension, steering, and braking systems
  • Replace exhausts, clutches, cambelts and handle general mechanical repairs
  • Perform safe and accurate MOT tests (must hold a valid MOT licence)
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers regarding their vehicle repairs
Candidate spec

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced automotive workshop environment
  • Confident handling all standard mechanical repairs and service tasks
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential
  • Hold an active MOT testing licence (highly desirable)
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work
