Fleet Vehicle Technician required in Chertsey for National Fleet Company 
Pay: £32,000 - £39,000 Basic DOE +  unsociable hours premium  + £ 7,360 - £8,970  Total annual earnings = £39,360 - £47,970 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week ONLY - over 365 day continuous operation- workshop is open 6am - 8pm Monday - Sunday  Are you a skilled automotive professional seeking your next career move? We are currently recruiting for a Fleet Vehicle Technician on behalf of a leading national fleet company in Chertsey. Duties

  • Servicing and repairing a fleet of converted specialised vans, grey fleet vehicles, and support vehicles, including Skoda Kodiak, Mercedes Vito, MAN TGE, VW Crafter, Fiat Ducato
  • Conducting pre-MOT inspections and diagnostics on vehicles with known faults
  • Maintenance of specialist equipment and telematics 
  • Following health and safety protocols and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Working within a 37.5-hour weekly rota on a continuous 365-day schedule, with varied start times and shifts
  • Using your technical expertise to accurately diagnose and resolve vehicle issues in a fast-paced environment
Candidate spec

  • Level 2 automotive qualification is acceptable; Level 3 is preferred with 3 to 5 years workshop experience
  • Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repairs, particularly with fleet or commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with a range of vehicle systems
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than six points
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, with a 22% unsocial hours premium.
