Location: Derby
Salary: £37,000 Basic | £42,500 OTE
Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week including weekends on a rota basis
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Technician to join a busy and modern main dealership workshop in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician looking to further their career with ongoing manufacturer training, modern workshop facilities, and genuine long-term progression opportunities.

- Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles
- Complete diagnostic and warranty work to manufacturer standards
- Perform vehicle maintenance including cambelts, servicing, and general mechanical repairs
- Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
- Accurately complete job cards and digital write-ups
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Work closely with the workshop team to maintain high standards of quality and productivity
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
- Strong servicing and repair experience
- Good understanding of diagnostics and fault finding
- MOT licence beneficial but not essential
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Motivated to learn and progress through manufacturer training
