Senior Sales Administrator vacancy in Derby!
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 basic salary depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
We are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Senior Sales Administrator to join the Truck Sales team in Derby. This is a key role supporting the smooth and efficient running of the administration department, with responsibility for overseeing workflows, maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring effective communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the administration team
  • Supporting and developing team members to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Acting as the first point of escalation for complex administrative issues
  • Creating and improving departmental processes and best practices
  • Managing departmental reports and maintaining data accuracy
  • Overseeing high-value customer accounts and providing customer support
  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of vehicle movements
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth operational processes
  • Checking month-end deal files for financial accuracy
  • Processing and tracking support claims and pricing credits through to payment
  • Supporting audit preparation and maintaining compliance
  • Monitoring departmental objectives and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Keeping the Truck Sales Manager updated on departmental performance and any issues
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong administration experience, ideally within the commercial vehicle, automotive or logistics sector
  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring an administration team would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial accuracy
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Confident managing workloads and prioritising competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Keyloop experience is desirable
  • A proactive and professional approach to work
