  • Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays

Our client, a busy and expanding dealership in the Exeter area, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to strengthen their team. If you are passionate about vehicle repair and maintenance and meet the required skills, this role offers a competitive salary and great career prospects.

Benefits for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Competitive basic salary up to £37,000 dependent on experience and qualifications
  • OTE in the region of £43,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 08:00 am to 17:30 pm
  • One in four Saturday mornings paid at an enhanced rate

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining vans and other vehicle types to a high standard
  • Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment to test, trace, and repair vehicle issues
  • Carrying out MOTs (Class 4 and 7) – advantageous but not essential
  • Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintaining and using own tools to support repairs and repairs
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Confident in vehicle repair, servicing, and maintenance
  • Experience working with diagnostic tools
  • Willing to work on a range of vehicle brands
  • Own tools required
  • Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
