Electric Vehicle Diagnostic Required in Petersfield for High Tech / Future Thinking Car Garage 

Pay: Circa £45k Basic DOE 
Hours: 8.30 - 5.30pm M- with Saturdays on a 1 in 4 rota  Are you an experienced automotive technician seeking a new role with a progressive and forward-thinking garage? We are looking for a highly skilled Service Technician or Mechanical Technician to join a cutting-edge automotive team based in Petersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with a strong background in vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to further develop their career within a dynamic environment.

Benefits

  • 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota basis, from 8.30am to 1pm
  • On-site facilities industry leading tools and extensive diagnostic equipment
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties

  • Carry out Electric Vehicle servicing and repairs to a high standard
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle faults
  • Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment to support repair work
  • Assist in the maintenance of workshop standards and health and safety procedures
  • Consultative approach to day to day working - helping other technicians and employees 
  • Support team members with technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction
Candidate spec

  • Proven experience as a Electric Vehicle Technician or mechanic in a busy workshop setting
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to quickly identify faults
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and Electric Vehicle / Hybrid system repairs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills and a professional attitude
