Join our client’s team as a Transaction Manager in Reading, Berkshire, and enjoy a rewarding career within a leading Volvo dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to step into a key leadership role, contributing to the continued success of the dealership while benefiting from a competitive salary package.

Benefits:

  • £30,000 Basic Salary / £60,000 OTE
  • Monday To Friday 8.30am - 6pm / Day Off In Week
  • Saturday 8.30am - 5pm
  • No Sundays
  • Main Car Dealership Environment
  • Previous Transaction / Business / Sales Management Experience Required
  • 31 days holiday annually inclusive of Bank Holidays
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Life insurance at 3 times your salary
Duties:

  • Manage and oversee the transaction process ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Develop strong working relationships with the sales team, finance, and insurance providers
  • Assist customers with finance, insurance, and additional products in compliance with FCA regulations
  • Construct finance proposals and support the sales team in closing deals profitably
  • Maximise sales efficiency through effective lead management and reporting
  • Support the achievement of dealership targets for both new and used vehicle sales
  • Provide coaching and support to sales staff to improve performance
  • Deputise for the Sales Manager when needed
  • Ensure accurate order processing and timely vehicle delivery
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and dealership profitability
Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in automotive sales management or a senior sales role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Automotive showroom experience essential
  • Knowledge of finance and insurance products
  • FCA accreditation or willing to achieve it
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within FCA regulations
