Vehicle Technician / Mechanic required! 
  • Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
  • Basic Salary up to £43,000 (plus £3,000 Productivity Bonus and Time Saved Bonus Scheme
  • Salary: Up to £52,480 OTE
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm + Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
Our client, a busy and well-established main dealer service centre in Birmingham, is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician to join a forward-thinking group offering competitive pay, ongoing manufacturer training (including Hybrid and EV), and genuine career development.

To be eligible for this Vehicle Technician role, you must have the following:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Previous experience in a dealership or independent workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • MOT testing accreditation, EV training or manufacturer experience are highly desirable, but not essential.
As a Vehicle Technician for our client, your day-to-day duties will include: 
  • Carrying out vehicle diagnostics using the latest manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment
  • Performing mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard
  • Supporting and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices
  • Liaising with the technical support team and service advisors when required
  • Conducting road tests to confirm repair quality and customer satisfaction
  • Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and health checks efficiently and accurately
  • Advising on additional repair work and providing technical feedback when needed.
