Fleet Damage Assessor Required for National Fleet / Hire Company - Addlestone, Surrey
Pay: £35,000 - £40,000 Basic 
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday ONLY 

Fleet Damage Assessor – Exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join a leading national fleet and hire company based in Addlestone, Surrey. This role offers an attractive salary package and the chance to work within a friendly, team-oriented environment. If you have experience in damage assessment as a Bodyshop receptionist, fleet controller or rental manager with excellent customer service skills, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Duties

  • Receive and review incoming damage estimates, identify items to charge and adjust estimates accordingly
  • Present revised estimates to customers clearly and professionally
  • Follow through from estimate presentation to invoicing, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with stakeholders internally and externally to coordinate repair processes
  • Conduct customer meetings and needs assessments
  • Maintain accurate records using Excel and company management systems
  • Ensure excellent customer care and communication at all times
  • Support colleagues with general administrative tasks within the office setting
Candidate spec

  • 4-5 years of experience in Bodyshop reception, rental damage assessment or dealer service roles
  • Familiarity with Bodyshop terminology, including off-side/near-side, wing, bumper
  • Strong communication skills, both telephone and face-to-face
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and data entry
  • Solutions-oriented with a friendly, approachable personality
  • Team player who fits well within a relaxed but fun office culture
  • Customer-focused with a willingness to go the extra mile and occasionally cover extra hours
  • Previous experience in rental companies, dealer services, or as an estimator is highly desirable
