About this Motor Mechanic / Service Technician role:
As a Motor Mechanic / Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities as a Motor Mechanic / Service Technician:
  • Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
  • Undertake repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts, and tyres.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify vehicle issues.
  • Accurately complete job cards and service records.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
The ideal Service Technician candidate will have:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic, or Service Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
  • Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair procedures.
  • The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • A full UK driving licence (preferred).
  • Their own set of tools.
