Nightshift MET Technician Required for Accident Repair Centre in Birmingham
  • £56,000 Basic + Bonus (Uncapped) 
  • Night Shift | Monday – Friday Only

Our client is one of Birmingham’s leading Accident Repair Centres and is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Nightshift MET Technician to join their growing team.

To be considered for this Nightshift MET Technician role, you will need:
  • A relevant qualification in vehicle body repair, automotive engineering, or equivalent experience as a MET Technician.
  • Proven experience repairing and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet productivity targets.
  • Experience carrying out repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities as a MET Technician:
  • Repairing and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnosing vehicle damage and carrying out repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Working to agreed timescales while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Ensuring all repairs meet quality control standards.
  • Completing all relevant job cards and documentation accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Following all company health and safety procedures.
  • Liaising effectively with colleagues, parts departments, and workshop management when required.
