- Salary: Around £38,000+ uncapped on-target earnings (depending on experience).

Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a team, as a Motorcycle Technician, your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, service, and repair as instructed to the standards laid down by our client for customers' motorcycles. You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Workshop Manager as required on motorcycle condition, safety, reliability and performance, as well as assisting the other Motorcycle Technicians in the workshop. As a Motorcycle Technician, you will need to ensure that work quality and Health & Safety procedures relating to the task at hand are adhered to at all times.
To be eligible, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair; however, our client is also very open to considering individuals with no formal qualifications but strong "time served" experience in vehicle mechanics (either car or motorcycle). You must, however, hold a UK motorcycle driving license with minimal points, be a committed individual, and be a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. individuals with an MOT license would be highly advantageous; however, this is non-essential, as training can be provided as long as you have the relevant qualifications.
