Our client, a franchised main car dealership in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, is actively seeking a motivated and experienced Transaction Manager to join their busy and expanding team. As part of their expansion plans within the market area, they are looking for strong transaction managers who can contribute to their ongoing success.

You will work closely with the Sales Manager, building solid relationships, and occasionally stepping into a managerial role. The team includes sales executives who will benefit from your guidance and leadership as you drive their performance and enhance the overall sales process.

  • A competitive OTE of £63,800, including a basic salary of £35,000 plus commission and company car
  • Five-day working week with weekdays from 08:00 to 18:00

Duties:
  • Managing all product sales, including finance, insurance, and value-added products
  • Leading and supporting a team of 4 to 5 sales professionals, providing coaching and direction
  • Handling customer enquiries with professionalism and delivering excellent customer satisfaction
  • Assisting in closing deals through second-facing and ongoing staff coaching
  • Developing strong customer relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business
  • Ensuring adherence to FCA guidelines and industry regulations
  • Addressing customer issues, managing expectations, and resolving queries efficiently
  • Contributing to the achievement of new and used car sales targets
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within a similar role such as Transaction Manager, Business Manager, or Sales Controller in the motor trade
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple customer appointments effectively
  • Energetic, driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
  • Full UK driving licence, preferably clean
