Panel Beater / Bodyshop Technician Required in Weybridge for Family Repair Prestige Bodyshop Group  

Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday only 
Pay: Up to £50,0000 Basic DOE 

We are assisting a reputable client in their search for a skilled and experienced Panel Beater / MET Technician to join their esteemed team in Weybridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled technician to work within a busy prestige bodyshop, delivering high standards of repair on luxury and performance vehicles.

Duties of a Panel Beater / MET Technician:
  • Carry out vehicle assessments and identify body damage and mechanical faults accurately
  • Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components on a variety of vehicles including electric and hybrid models
  • Prepare damaged panels for repair using traditional panel beating techniques and welding where necessary
  • Repair or replace structural and body panels, working with materials such as aluminium and composites
  • Straighten and align vehicle frames to manufacturer specifications ensuring safety and structural integrity
  • Support the paint and finishing team with blending, polishing, and final inspection
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment while adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements of a Panel Beater / MET Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater and MET Technician, ideally within a prestige or accident repair environment
  • Skills in panel beating, welding, and mechanical repairs
  • Knowledge of high-end vehicle repair methods and materials, including composites and aluminium repairs
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Ability to handle electric and hybrid vehicle systems safely and confidently
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
