We are currently seeking a highly experienced Service Manager to join our client’s team in Stoke, Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive professional to take on a pivotal leadership role within a reputable dealership. The Service Manager will oversee the aftersales department, ensuring superb customer service, optimal workshop efficiency, and overall departmental profitability.

Duties:
  • Lead and manage the aftersales department, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction
  • Oversee daily workshop operations, maximising efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and mentor the aftersales team to ensure ongoing professional growth
  • Maintain manufacturer compliance and ensure adherence to relevant standards
  • Monitor financial performance and drive profitability within the department
  • Implement initiatives to improve customer experience and retain loyalty
Requirements:
  • Proven automotive aftersales management experience, ideally within a dealership environment
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Commercial awareness with a good understanding of financial metrics
  • Experience managing workshop performance and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Desirable: German main dealership experience; familiarity with systems such as ElsaPro, ODIS, and DMS platforms
