LCV Technician Opportunity in Gillingham
  • Basic Salary: £36,000 + OTE £52,000
  • Franchised Main Dealer
  • Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays paid at time and a half
Our client, a Franchised Main Dealer, is currently looking to recruit an LCV Technician to join their dealership in the Gillingham area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established dealer group, known for its long-standing partnership with a leading manufacturer. With a network of over 30 locations across the South of England and a workforce of over 1,000 employees, they provide a supportive and progressive working environment.

Duties of a Commercial Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Provide technical and diagnostic services to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met.
  • Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and complete manufacturer training.
  • Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes.
What our Client expects of their Commercial Vehicle Technicians: 
  • A City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in inspection, repair, and servicing of motor vehicles.
  • An MOT Tester qualification would be beneficial but is not essential. 
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Previous experience in a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential.
