As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play an important role within a busy workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard while ensuring every customer receives an exceptional level of service.
Your responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
- Completing complex repair work in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Working closely with fellow technicians to ensure an efficient workshop workflow.
- Carrying out quality control checks on completed work.
- Maintaining workshop tools and equipment to a safe working standard.
- Assisting with repair estimates and communicating technical findings when required.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe, clean working environment.
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture.
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- A minimum of three years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the motor trade.
- Strong diagnostic skills with previous diagnostic training.
- Experience carrying out complex mechanical repairs.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work to a high standard.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
