Vehicle Technician / PDI Technician Required in Lightwater, Surrey
Pay: £40,000 - £50,000 Basic DOE 

Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday ONLY - Saturdays overtime if wanted  Join a reputable dealership in Lightwater, Surrey, as a Vehicle Technician and take your career to the next level. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to work in a dynamic environment, specialising in premium brand vehicle servicing and repairs.

Duties

  • Performing vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs, including suspension work - nothing heavy like timing chains / clutches! 
  • Carrying out PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections) to ensure vehicles meet manufacturer standards 
  • Preparing vehicles for retail sale and ensuring first-time fix is achieved
  • Managing invoicing and parts ordering efficiently through parts suppliers 
  • Ensuring repair work maintains the dealership’s reputation for quality
  • Working predominantly on BMWs and Mercedes, but also supporting other vehicle brands as required
Candidate spec

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within the motor industry
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair procedures
  • Familiarity with PDI processes and parts ordering procedures
  • Ability to deliver high standards of work and customer satisfaction
  • Experience working with premium brands is highly desirable
  • A professional attitude and a commitment to fixing vehicles efficiently and correctly
