Senior Vehicle Technician Required – Cannock
  • Basic Salary: £40,000
  • OTE: £48,000 - £55,000+ (uncapped bonus scheme)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (No Weekends)
  • Overtime: Paid at time and a half
  • Location: Cannock.
Our client, a highly respected and established Main Dealer in Cannock, is looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their busy and successful workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician seeking a senior role with an outstanding basic salary, strong earning potential, and access to manufacturer training and long-term career development opportunities.

Responsibilities of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Complete servicing, maintenance, and complex repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out advanced mechanical and electrical fault finding
  • Support and mentor junior technicians where required
  • Complete pre-delivery inspections and vehicle preparation
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all relevant paperwork
  • Liaise with customers and service advisors regarding vehicle repairs when required
  • Work independently while contributing positively to the wider workshop team.
Requirements for a Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or professional workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A proactive, reliable, and professional approach with strong attention to detail
