Service Technician Required – Wolverhampton Area
  • Salary: Up to £32,000 basic, depending on experience.
  • Bonus: Performance bonus available. (£38k+) 
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with one Saturday morning in two (8:30am – 12:30pm).

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our client's long-established, family-run business. If you're looking to work for a company where your contribution is recognised and you're treated as a valued member of the team rather than just a number, this could be the perfect opportunity.

To be considered for this role, you'll need a minimum of 5 years' previous vehicle mechanical experience. You'll be confident carrying out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to a high standard, with experience in work such as servicing, brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, and general vehicle maintenance. Diagnostic experience is advantageous but not essential.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards are essential. A full UK driving licence is also required.

An MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Your duties  as a Service Technician will include:
  • Carrying out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults where required.
  • Completing repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
  • Performing vehicle health checks (VHCs).
  • Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation.
  • Working efficiently to agreed timescales while maintaining excellent workmanship.
  • Helping to ensure customers receive a first-class service from start to finish.
