Our Client is a well-established leading Commercial Vehicle Servicing Company with contracts across the UK and beyond, and they are seeking a HGV Trailer Technician to work with their clients in the Widnes area.

This is a reputable company providing Trailer Refurbishment, Maintenance & Repair, and other fleet solutions to a range of commercial clients in the area. They are a company that values their staff, pays a highly competitive salary and offers fantastic company benefits, incentives and rewards.

Duties of an HGV Trailer Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out repairs on Trailers according to procedures and in a timely safe manner
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis
  • Reporting any faults/defects in accordance with the processes
  • MOT prep
  • Keeping your workplace clean and returning equipment to designated areas
  • Complying with all health and safety regulations ensuring your workplace is safe at all times
What our Client expects of their HGV Trailer Technicians:
  • Previous experience as a Trailer / HGV Technician is essential
  • Experience with Trailers - Tail Lifts, Curtain Siders etc.
  • HGV Driving License would be beneficial but is not essential
  • A relevant Level 2/3 qualifications (or equivalent) would be an added advantage but is not essential
  • Excellent time keeping skills
  • To understand the importance of accuracy.
  • To be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to plan ahead effectively and multi-task.
