This is an excellent chance to work in a professional and supportive environment, providing repairs, servicing, and technical diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles. The successful individual will benefit from a competitive basic salary, achievable bonus scheme, and a standard Monday to Friday working week with just one Saturday every two months.

Benefits of this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role: 
  • Competitive basic salary up to £34,000 depending on experience
  • OTE £39,000 with bonus structure in place
  • Monday to Friday working hours 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • One Saturday every two months from 8:30am to 12:30pm
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Duties of the role:
  • Carrying out vehicle repairs and services in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Conducting MOT testing with an MOT licence (Level 3 qualified preferred but Level 2 individuals with testing licence considered)
  • Diagnosing automotive faults and performing repairs accordingly
  • Liaising with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair work
  • Supporting and mentoring junior technicians in the workshop
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Attending ongoing technical training to stay updated with the latest vehicle technology
Person specification: 
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT Tester qualification (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 considered with testing licence)
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Demonstrable workshop experience and technical proficiency
  • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent customer service
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the automotive industry
