Service Advisor Required in Telford
  • Location: Telford
  • Basic salary £30k basic 
  • Salary: Circa £35,000 OTE (Depending on Experience)
  • Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week. Saturdays will be required on a rota basis.
Our client, a long-established and highly respected automotive dealership group in Shropshire, is looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy dealership in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business with a strong reputation for customer service, excellent staff retention, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

The Service Advisor Role:
  • Welcoming customers into the dealership and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Booking vehicle service and repair appointments.
  • Accurately recording customer concerns and workshop job details.
  • Liaising between customers and the workshop throughout the repair process.
  • Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress and any additional work required.
  • Promoting and explaining additional repair work where appropriate.
  • Working closely with the workshop team to ensure a smooth customer journey.
  • Maintaining accurate records using dealership management systems.
The Successful Service Advisor Will Have:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills and experience using dealership management systems.
  • Experience with Kerridge/Drive or E-Dynamix would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Knowledge of Ford vehicles would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
