We are pleased to present an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Service Advisor to join our reputable client in Dorchester. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and driving workshop profitability. As a Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless after-sales experience while maximising revenue opportunities.

Duties

Greet customers and their vehicles professionally and courteously, discussing and confirming their requirements
Coordinate with the workshop team to achieve high performance standards and ensure timely repairs
Keep customers informed about vehicle progress, providing technical and commercial advice along with cost estimates
Promote optional extras and accessories, maximise sales opportunities through accessory campaigns
Manage collection and delivery schedules, ensuring customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency
Accurately record all customer and vehicle data within the DMS system and update as needed
Ensure repair orders are correctly raised, processed, and completed within set timeframes
Process invoices accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company guidelines
Oversee subcontracted repairs, ensuring quality and completion
Utilise technical information and manufacturer systems effectively
Maintain warranty documentation and parts records for warranty processing

Requirements

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Prior experience in a similar automotive Service Advisor role
Strong knowledge of dealer management computer systems or similar
Excellent understanding of customer needs and demands
Full UK Driving Licence and smart, professional appearance
Flexibility to work hours from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, with one-hour unpaid lunch break
Willingness to work Saturday mornings on a rota basis, with hours paid as overtime
