We are pleased to present an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Service Advisor to join our reputable client in Dorchester. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and driving workshop profitability. As a Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless after-sales experience while maximising revenue opportunities.

Duties:
  • Greet customers and their vehicles professionally and courteously, discussing and confirming their requirements
  • Coordinate with the workshop team to achieve high performance standards and ensure timely repairs
  • Keep customers informed about vehicle progress, providing technical and commercial advice along with cost estimates
  • Promote optional extras and accessories, maximise sales opportunities through accessory campaigns
  • Manage collection and delivery schedules, ensuring customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency
  • Accurately record all customer and vehicle data within the DMS system and update as needed
  • Ensure repair orders are correctly raised, processed, and completed within set timeframes
  • Process invoices accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company guidelines
  • Oversee subcontracted repairs, ensuring quality and completion
  • Utilise technical information and manufacturer systems effectively
  • Maintain warranty documentation and parts records for warranty processing
Requirements:
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Prior experience in a similar automotive Service Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of dealer management computer systems or similar
  • Excellent understanding of customer needs and demands
  • Full UK Driving Licence and smart, professional appearance
  • Flexibility to work hours from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, with one-hour unpaid lunch break
  • Willingness to work Saturday mornings on a rota basis, with hours paid as overtime
