We are currently recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client in Bodmin. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a stable and rewarding role within a reputable dealership. Our client is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Vehicle Technician to join their team and deliver exceptional service.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of around £35,000 per annum possibly more depending on experience. 
  • Potential OTE of £40,000 plus additional performance bonuses
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • One in four Saturday mornings, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Duties:
  • Carrying out vehicle diagnostics, repairs and servicing efficiently
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnosing faults accurately and advising customers accordingly
  • Maintaining detailed records of work performed
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
  • Collaborating with team members to meet workshop targets and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop or dealership
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Valid UK driving licence
