A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join a successful independent prestige vehicle specialist in Milton Keynes.
The business has an excellent reputation within the local area and is looking to strengthen its experienced workshop team. They are particularly keen to hear from Senior or Master Technicians, although Technicians at other levels with the right experience and attitude will also be considered.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to enjoy the technical variety and earning potential of a specialist workshop, without the pressures and restrictions often associated with a main dealer environment.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and mechanical work to a high standard.
- Diagnosing faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and identifying additional work required.
- Working to manufacturer repair procedures and technical specifications.
- Providing technical advice and support to colleagues where required.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including parts and labour.
- Keeping up to date with the latest automotive technology and diagnostic techniques.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Previous experience within a professional automotive workshop.
- Strong mechanical and technical ability.
- Good diagnostic experience would be highly advantageous.
- The ability to follow technical procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- A methodical approach to fault-finding and vehicle repair.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
