We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Bodyshop Workshop Manager to join a well-established team in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a key leadership role within a busy bodyshop environment and contribute to the ongoing success of the operation.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee daily workshop operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate a team of approximately 15 technicians and support staff
  • Coordinate workflow and job prioritisation to meet deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and health and safety compliance
  • Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and claims processing
  • Drive profitability and ensure service excellence across all activities within the workshop
Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a workshop controller or in a similar managerial role within a bodyshop
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of bodyshop processes and customer service standards
  • Ability to motivate a team and manage workflow efficiently
  • Valid UK driving licence and relevant industry qualifications are preferred
