- Provide generalist HR support to the dealer network, including advice on performance, conduct, absence, and grievance issues
- Support line managers with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes, ensuring correct procedures are followed
- Manage probation periods, contract extensions, and appointment confirmations
- Oversee short and long-term sickness absence management
- Assist in the implementation of performance management tools such as appraisals, succession planning, and career development
- Work in partnership with the Recruitment team to ensure timely hiring of vacancies
- Advise on and promote best HR practices across the organisation
- Ensure all HR activities align with employment legislation and company policies
- CIPD qualification (or working towards)
- 2+ years' experience in a HR advisory role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage employee relations and complex HR issues
- Professional approach with a focus on supporting line managers and developing teams
- Automotive experience would be beneficial
