We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious main dealer group in Brighton, West Sussex, seeking an experienced Technician to join their highly regarded service team. This opportunity is ideal for skilled automotive professionals looking to advance their career within a successful and forward-thinking dealership.

Duties:
  • Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and rectify vehicle faults
  • Carrying out routine repairs and services to manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  • Liaising with colleagues, supervisors, and customers to ensure timely completion of work
  • Completing service documentation accurately and efficiently, including electronic job sheets and reports
  • Supporting and mentoring other team members to uphold quality standards
  • Continuously developing technical skills through manufacturer training pathways, including hybrid and electric vehicle technology
  • Ensuring work is completed within agreed deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Requirements:
  • Relevant NVQ or IMI Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)
  • Experience working within a main dealer environment is highly desirable
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of modern vehicles
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Good organisational skills and professional appearance
