Are you an experienced HGV Technician seeking a rewarding role with day shifts? Our client is looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their team at Middlewich, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work within a reputable commercial vehicle dealership, providing high-quality maintenance and repair services on HGVs and trailers.

  • Competitive basic salary of £52,000 per year with potential earnings up to £58,000 including OTE
  • Day shift working hours from 6am to 6pm, Sunday to Wednesday

Duties:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers
  • Diagnose faults and perform vehicle tests to identify issues
  • Complete warranty, contract, and retail paperwork accurately
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise customer costs
  • Follow manufacturer procedures and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with team members or independently as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicles
  • Full UK driving licence; an HGV licence is desirable but not essential
  • Organised with great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
