Are you a skilled Technician looking for a role where your experience is recognised and your earnings can grow? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy, well-established workshop in Grays, Essex. This is a great opportunity for a time-served professional who wants a long-term position with clear earning potential.

Benefits:
  • Up to £44,000 basic salary
  • OTE £55k+, with the potential to earn much higher per year (uncapped)
  • Monday to Friday working pattern with a consistent schedule
  • 8.30 to 6.1 pm hours
  • One in three Saturday mornings
  • Supportive workshop environment with a focus on quality workmanship
Duties:
  • Diagnose and repair faults on car and light commercial vehicles to a high standard
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and inspection work in line with manufacturer procedures
  • Ensure repairs are completed efficiently while maintaining excellent quality
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify problems and confirm solutions
  • Maintain accurate job cards and update records as required
  • Support the workshop team to deliver a smooth and productive service
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Strong time-served background and solid technical knowledge
  • Confidence working on a range of light commercial vehicle makes and models
  • Experience with diagnostics and fault-finding
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • A strong commitment to safe working practices and quality standards
