MOT Tester Required in Dartford for Family Run Car Garage 
  • Pay: £36,000 basic 
  • Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with Saturdays on a rota (time off in lieu) 
We are currently seeking a dedicated MOT Tester to join a well-established, family-run car garage in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to further their career within a reputable business that values quality and expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests efficiently and to high standards, contributing to the continued success of the workshop.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £36,000 per annum with potential earnings of up to £40,000 including overtime and incentives
  • Full-time permanent position with 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • Flexible working hours from 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota and time off in lieu
  • Opportunity to work with a modern 4-post MOT bay and solo testing environment
Duties:
  • Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles efficiently and to industry standards
  • Ensure all testing procedures are completed accurately within the allocated times
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports for each vehicle tested
  • Maintain high levels of customer service by providing advice and feedback where appropriate
  • Support the workshop team with additional vehicle inspection and repair work as needed
Requirements:
  • Relevant MOT Tester qualification and current UK testing certification
  • Experience working with 4-post MOT testing equipment
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle safety standards and testing procedures
  • Reliable and diligent with good organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
