Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Bedford Main Dealer 
  • Basic Salary: Up to £39,000 depending on experience + Bonus
  • Bonus based on individual time saved and team profit

Our client is a prestigious main dealership based within the Bedford area. They are currently looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their highly skilled workshop team.


This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established main dealership that values technical expertise, rewards hard work and offers genuine opportunities for career progression. You will be joining a workshop team of 10 Technicians, including 4 Master Technicians, providing a highly experienced and supportive environment.


The dealership also offers modern facilities, including 17 workshop bays equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, alongside structured manufacturer training to help you continue developing your technical skills and progress your career.


Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vehicles to a high standard
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Working closely with the workshop team to achieve departmental targets and maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Following manufacturer standards, technical information and repair procedures
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technical training and developments
  • Contributing to a first-class service for every customer
  • Conducting MOT Tests, if qualified

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or similar fast-paced workshop environment
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • MOT Licence is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently as part of a highly skilled workshop team
  • A genuine interest in developing your technical skills and progressing your career
