Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester Required in Epsom, Surrey for Car Dealership 
  • Pay: £38 - £40k Basic + £48k OTE
  • Hours: 45 hours per week Monday - Friday + Saturdays on a rota 
We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable automotive dealership in Epsom, Surrey. This role is designed for an experienced automotive professional eager to develop their skills further and work within a vibrant, forward-thinking team. With a strong focus on both traditional vehicle maintenance and electric vehicle technology, this is a great chance to build a future-proof career in the motor trade.

Duties:
  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair faults with accuracy and efficiency
  • Support the team with mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostics to industry standards
  • Provide technical advice and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest vehicle technologies, including electric vehicles
  • Assist with MOT testing and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence for at least six months
  • NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • At least two years of post-apprenticeship experience in an automotive environment
  • MOT testing qualification preferred
  • Previous experience working within a main dealership or similar environment
  • Enthusiasm to learn about electric vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills
