  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota 
  • Pay: Circa £35,000 per annum on Target Earnings 
Are you passionate about cars and customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our client a Automotive Car Dealer Group based in Croydon are currently seeking a dynamic Automotive Service Advisor to join their team at their Franchised Car Dealership in Croydon.

Role Overview: As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will be the face of our clients dealership, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients who visit their service department. Your primary goal will be to ensure that each customer receives prompt, professional, and courteous service, while also maximizing service department revenue through effective upselling and promoting additional services.

Key Responsibilities of a Service Advisor with our client:
  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival at the dealership's service department.
  • Consult with customers to understand their vehicle service needs and provide accurate service recommendations.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Provide customers with accurate estimates of service costs and obtain necessary approvals before commencing work.
  • Actively promote and upsell additional services, accessories, and maintenance plans to customers.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of customer interactions, service appointments, and vehicle service history.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and automotive service software.
  • A genuine passion for cars and a desire to provide the best possible service to customers.
